"Save Me a Spot in College" Scholarship Contest!
Students participating in the contest will learn about college and make sure state leaders are informed about the importance of higher education access and success. “Why should California leaders save you and your peers a spot in college?” Contest categories: Written Word; Poster or TV Ad. Due date is March 15. Stop by GEAR UP Room 256 for more information and assistance. .
California Young Medal Readers!
Voting Party will be March 25th at 12:30 pm. If you would like to participate, please see Mrs. von Winckelmann or Ms. Hugo to get your name on the list. We can only invite students who tell us they are participating. Thank you!
* A 2.0 academic and citizenship GPA for the whole school year. (I need to have the 8th grade wide Citizenship policy that all of you will follow by October 30, 2009)
* A student may not have more than one suspension between Nov 9, 2009 and May 10, 2010. A student may not have any suspensions from May 10, 2010 – July 20, 1010. If a student received one or more suspensions between September 8, 2009 and November 6, 2009, then they cannot get anymore suspensions.
